How to land a Teacher Job

Barbara McNally
Jersey City Board of Education
Grade 8

I landed my first teaching job by following in the footsteps of my father.
I landed my first teaching job because I possess these qualities I would like to think that I can see the potential in all children. Some need a little more help then others, but in the end, kids are kids and they all have unique abilities. It is up to me to find that, tap into it and let them soar.
Finding a teaching job can be hard, but here is some advice to make it easier Stick to it. Always continue with your education. You learn something new everyday. You might find it in the strangest places. You don’t have to be in a school to learn……………look around you. There are amazing people out there who you can learn some pretty powerful lessons from. Never doubt yourself and keep moving forward. It is the only direction that will lead to success.
